The EasyWake rules apply to anyone wishing to be picked up by the club's boat for one of the water sports offered by the association. All persons boarding the boat are required to comply with the guidelines set out in this document.
Any person wishing to be picked up by the EasyWake club boat to practice one of the water sports listed in article 2. Any person boarding the boat is required to comply with the guidelines in this document.
The following disciplines are considered to be water sports: wakeboard, wakeskate, wakesurf (landlock), water ski, buoy. Any other slippery object will be accepted, subject to the danger it represents.
The rider must follow the instructions given by the boat's captain. The captain is the person piloting the boat and not the accompanying person or any other person on board. It is compulsory to wear a lifejacket.
The pilot and the club undertake to honor participants' reservations, subject to the vagaries of the weather.
The pilot and the club (committee) are obliged to apply these rules to all persons taken on board.
Before setting off for a session, the rider and pilot agree on the codes to be applied.
These codes are important, as they signal to the pilot that the rider is unharmed after a fall, and that there is no need to adopt the appropriate man-overboard type of emergency rescue.
All participants (riders or accompanying persons) are required to have accident insurance covering them while practising this sport.
These rules are subject to the approval of the full committee only.
Under no circumstances may members of any kind modify the content of these rules, as specified in the articles of association.
Modifications may be made during the season. An exception is made for “ride” rates, which can only be modified from one season to the next.
All persons are responsible for their own equipment both on board and on land. EasyWake is not liable for any loss or theft.
In addition, the captain may recommend and require the wearing of suitable equipment such as lifejackets...
EasyWake Club makes equipment available to riders.
EasyWake Club reserves the right to charge for any obvious damage to the boat and its equipment.
